File_2-6.JPG"Humanitarian Truck" gets shot upThis 3/4 ton truck was used for humanitarian purposes to bring medical help and supplies to a local village near one of the firebases. One day, the guys went in and Charlie was waiting for them and bushwhacked them. One of the guys was wounded but made it back on foot. We immediately got the order to go in and kick ass. We were trucked in and by the time we got there, all that was left was the truck. If you enlarge the photo, you can see bullet holes in the side frame, the hood, and the windshield. We cleared the area and got choppered out to another.Sep 13, 2010

File_2-1.JPGPapa San at workWe were on a mission to watch this village on the other side of the rice paddy. After two days of sitting in the rain, we got the order on the third day to go across and check it out. It was supposed to be harboring VC. This picture taken when we were about in the middle. Papa San was out doing his daily chores.Sep 13, 2010
