Giving it the ol' "heave-ho". During our basic training orientation of new soldiers on the record hand-grenade course on Thursday morning, the "old soldiers" were invited to try their hand at it. The tennis-ball size training grenades contained a primer only and usually rolled a few feet after tossing...then you heard a "pop".
