UNK troop stands at hut entrance. Going thru Vietnamese villages was a very problematic. Many villagers were glad to see US troops, others very worried when they left and the return of the VC.

Almost every village entered found enemy stockpiles of rice and weapons. The enemy was hiding behind the peaceful farmers who wanted no part of this war. The US media never reported this.
