MISSION STATEMENT
This website is dedicated to the men of the 2nd Battalion, 9th Artillery who served in the Republic of Vietnam from start to finish.
As you will note on our Unit History link, following the Vietnam conflict the 2nd Battalion has been inactivated and reactivated over the intervening years.
This website is dedicated to protecting and preserving the history of a 105mm howitzer battalion that provided vital direct support to our line companies engaged in combat with the enemy during the Vietnam conflict. It is especially dedicated to our brothers who did not return home.
This website is for you...the men who served with "The Mighty Ninth".
